A great city has great schools!

All issues

We make great schools with choice, quality, and affordability. While the city does not run the schools, the right Mayor can set the tone. We will be a partner, not a bystander — supporting school infrastructure, workforce pipelines, and the families who want school choice.

What we will do

  • Champion infrastructure investment that supports school construction and renovation.
  • Partner with the districts to encourage more cooperation and resource sharing.
  • Support families' right to choose the school that fits their children.
  • Connect high school and community college programs to local employer needs.
  • Support initiatives that improve the high school to workforce pipeline to better prepare students for work. This includes support of the trades. I did this as Chair of the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. As Mayor, we will do more.
