What we will do

  • Reverse the cuts to police academy training.
  • Rebalance the workforce so a higher share of officers are warranted patrol — not back-office.
  • Partner with the El Paso County Sheriff's regional academy to expand recruit pipelines.
  • Set realistic, measurable patrol-coverage targets for every shift.
