Modern small modular reactors use very little water, run quietly, and produce power cheaper than coal, natural gas, or oil. Nixon Power Plant is the right place to start.

What we will do

  • Pursue a modern small modular reactor at Nixon Power Plant in partnership with CSU.
  • Coordinate with Fort Carson to extend reliable baseload power to the base.
  • Reject one-size-fits-all bans on natural gas in new construction.
  • Build energy resilience for emergency scenarios — fires, storms, grid failures.
