The city can't run a hospital, but it can work with UCHealth, Penrose, and private providers to ensure every zip code has access to primary care, behavioral health, and emergency services.

What we will do

  • Partner with providers to close service gaps in underserved parts of the city.
  • Address behavioral health and addiction as public safety and health issues — not just criminal ones.
  • Support veteran healthcare access in coordination with military installations.
  • Work with the state to reduce regulatory barriers to healthcare competition.
